Nostalgic Family Photographs

This inspiring collection of images, taken from original photographs,
are of families from Appleby.
We hope to be able to add more photographs to this collection soon.

The First Photograph: Don Welch, middle rear, as a young boy with his sisters, photographed outside the village school. Don, now in his early 90’s, still lives in Appleby and enjoys tending his large vegetable garden adjacent to his cottage.

The Second Photograph: The little girl is Mary Welch aged around 4, with her brother, Norman.

The Third Photograph: Ralph and Mary Welch, centre rear, with the proud grandparents on the occasion of their son, Robin’s, Christening.
