Dedication
It has been a real pleasure creating the Appleby-Lincolnshire website. Appleby has always been a very special village to me - even more so in 2002 when I met my lovely husband-to-be outside his cottage here in the village! The last few years have been a truly wonderful and
magical time for us both.
On Monday, 12th May 2003, as I cycled around the village I thought how nice it would be to create a website - for the residents of Appleby past and present and for those who might be interested in seeing the delightful cottages and roads, and discovering
for themselves the unique appeal of Appleby.
By Tuesday evening I had the website up and running . . . and by the official launch day, Friday 16th 2003, I’d added a good bit more!
I have received many kind comments, and much encouragement - thank you! However, if it wasn’t for the support of my husband - my lovely, lovely husband - I couldn’t have done it!
